SMS date threading messed up

Ever since the first of the year my SMS date has been incorrect for incoming SMS's. I don't know about MMS since I have not received. It is the correct day and month but it says it is the year 2016. It is frustrating because my messages are in the right year and it keeps everything out of order. My time is correct, I don't know what the problem is. Any one have an idea?
