Lost HTC Task Manager

I just noticed that I have lost the HTC task manager in the upper right of the home screen (see attached screen shot and red arrow). Not sure when it happened and the only thing new I have added or changed is to update SPB Mobile Shell to the latest version a few days ago. I did make sure that Settings\system\Task Manager "Enable Quick Menu on Today Screen" is checked.

Any ideas?

Re: Lost HTC Task Manager

Yes, its a bug with Shell 3.5.3!
Same to me....have re-installed 3.5.2, and no problems there!

Re: Lost HTC Task Manager

It was a trade out with MS 3.5.2 ... either the dialer's contact buttons work and no HTC task manager in the corner or you get the task manager and the dialer doesn't have full functionality.

The X still closes the programs. I just have a shortcut to the task manager and I am making due. I like a fully functional dialer.

Gotcha, thanks. I never really missed the contact buttons in the HTC dialer and I am not sure how badly I am going to miss the task manager. I guess I will try to live without it for a while and see how things go, or until SPB fixes things properly.

The ms task man is good, put it right on your home screen if ya want. Maybe why spb left htc's out.
