Most of us with custom roms don't have the necessary key and dword value, and some of us don't know how or have the means to create them. I made this for a friend who is a bit slow with WM. The CAB file makes it easier and also allows for uninstallation once Sprint fixes the issue network side.

It's confirmed working with the Windows text messaging app on the Stock Sprint rom, Energy, and Mighty roms.
It basically forces the phone to use it's own system time as the "Received" time and date for incoming text messages. This is not as accurate as the alternative since it varies with your reception status.. and whether your phone is on or off, of course
