GSM is having issues too. Users over at howardforums are reporting the 2016 bug on GSM networks in China and Korea as well

Re: pro 2 was perfect til 2010

To the original poster...

before you do anything, make sure you forst sync with eithe MyPhone:
http://myphone.microsoft.com
or activesync or Windows Mobile Device Center (depending on your version of Windows).

That way you won't lose your contacts, calendar, tasks, documents, pictures, videos, and other personal data in the event you hard reset.

In MyPhone just set it to sync everything, but uncheck the storage card (since a hard reset doesn't erase the storage card anyway, and you probably don't have enough space to back it up online either). Then you can log in from the website and archive/delete whatever you don't want.

This is a must though. If you lose all your stuff in a hard reset and you don't have it backed up it will be gone forever. I don't know about you, but for me that would be devastating.

MyPhone is the one I suggest. And I am attaching a cab to this post in case you don't have it yet. You need a hotmail/live/msn email address to sign in with, so if you don't have one yet go to hotmail.com and get a free account. Then just install this cab on your phone and sync it. If you already have one just install this cab and sync.

After you hard reset, install the cab again and sync again and it will bring all your stuff back.

This is an isuue with the phone itself. not the SPrint network. my wife said the phone was extremely hot when she got into bed. i too out battery for few hours with no difference. Hands free activation comes up when i turn it on but when it finishes it restarts the phone and does it all again. if i cancel it i can get into the phone but like i said it is sooo sluggish. i can only navigate the phone through start menu, my home page/wallpaper does nto even come up, just black screen.

please help cause i attempted to call sprint but they dont listen to a word i say and send me to someone for the network and not tech support.
a few days ago i had similar problems. phone worked fine on my way to work then all of a sudden turned sluggish. tf3d didnt work very well. i had to use the start menu as soon as the phone reset, else the touchscreen would not be responsive. multiple resets didnt help either.

i used my sbp backup to restore back to the previous days settings, and things seemed to work fine, but then for some reason text messaging wasnt working properly.

long story short...hard reset.

my only thought was it could be the newest version of pocketshield...since that was the last cab installed around the same time the phone crapped out.

I had a very similar experience that started a couple of weeks ago. Exact same symptoms, sluggish, tf3d wasn't starting. Phone kept trying to do a Handsfree activation" and would fail most of the time. Once in a while it would succeed with the activation. Soft reset didn't help, ended up having to do a hard reset and then use Sprite Backup to restore my phone to a backup from 11/30. Phone worked ok for a about a week then I had the same problems develop again. So I did the same and we'll see. And I know haven't installed any software since late October.

Anyone have some good suggestions or experience the same problems?

Re: pro 2 was perfect til 2010

The first time this happened to me (2 days ago) I saw the same screen as on this post. Also I notice that when I had this problem I had just been outside a sprint coverage area and was roaming. I was just about to bring the phone in for replacement till I saw this thread
