Duplicate sent email?

When I sent emails from my TP2 using my gmail account, dulplicate copies of the email are created when I later log on to my gmail account from desktop.

Is there a setting to prevent this?

I am having a similar issue when using Reply All. Recipients get 2 copies of the message.

I'm having the same issue with my Gmail as well. Any time I send an email from my TP2, it duplicates the message. I've noticed it doing this for at least a week or so.

I've tried different things, and you can prevent gmail from displaying the same sent mail twice by going to "Option" - "Message tab" and turning off the "keep copies of sent items in Sent Folder".

There is a huge downside to this solution: with the above option turned off, all SMS messages that you sent are lost as well! As a result, threaded SMS view no longer provides the messages that you sent in a conversation style.

So it comes down to which is the lesser evil of the two. I chose to have duplicate sent emails in GMail.
