Hello all

Hope this is not an inappropriate thing to post about and not that I know anything about them but as I placed a order with them last night (12/30/09) and found that this coupon worked, I thought I would pass it along.

Yeah that's what I ordered too, I forget exactly where it was I did it, but I know I put the code in at some point and my receipt showed the reduction and no charge for shipping.

But then again I just noticed that the site touts that they have free shipping in the US so I guess that parts kinda pointless but the 20% off is nice.

Btw an I guess I should have done this before as yeah I too have been burned but I just did a Google search for both their name and their url and I didn't find any negative comments on them.

Also I did try to find them on Yahoo's merchant directory but I couldn't, but that thing is kinda funky anyway.

For me I'm in the North East and they show they are in CA so given the holiday weekend, I doubt I will see this thing till well into next week.

Sprint cradle arrived and its as described. It has the bottom charging nub off to the side just like the Sprint/Verizon TP2 has. It includes both the USB and AC adapters so you can use either, but you'll need the AC adapter to charge both the phone and spare battery at the same time. If the 20% still works then its a good deal for those looking for a cradle.

Does it actually charge the phone from the AC adapter if the phone is also connected to the computer via USB? Most of these only use the AC adapter for the spare battery, and charge the phone from USB.

Tanks for the update.

You must live closer to CA as mine is still in shipping via USPS to the East Coast.

It left CA on the 4th and lists no expected delivery date an no updates since then, pretty typical though.

Hopefully will be here b4 the weekend.

I live in Florida...

And mine was the same on USPS so I wasn't expecting it for another day or two.

I have the phone charging via AC adapter alone right now. If hooking both up it will charge one way or the other regardless so...

Yeah actually src666 brought up a good point and I guess I will have it in a few day so I can test myself.

I noticed that when my Verizon TP2 gets charged via the USB power, it gets pretty hot, especially when its finally gotten fully charged and I continue to leave it connected, then it gets pretty hot.

At this point its leading me to believe the that charging control to shut down when done with the USB/PC connection is not as good as the wall one.

As well if I charge it via the wall charger, it charges much faster and while I know the trickle charge of the USB is better overall, sometimes I need it quick.

Well I guess I'll find out when I get mine.
