I don't use MS anymore, but when I did I remember all you had to do to disable it was delete the link to it from the Windows/Startup folder.

Maybe they have changed how it works, but I remember copying that link to my LT then deleting it. When I wanted it re-enabled I just copied it back to the start-up folder again & reset.
