To Get Touch Pro 2, Plan Change required?

Please, I will start by saying I apologize if this has been covered, I have looked and can't find it. So please, no flaming, just point me to the right Thread and Admin can delete or close this.

I want to get the Touch Pro 2, but I am not sure if they require a change of Plan like the Pre.
I have the Free & Clear Plan 3000
Which has Unlimited Tex, Data and More and I pay $20/month.
When I got the Touch Pro, no questions were asked, But this time around I don't know. I was on the phone with a Sprint Sales Rep and she said I would have to get one of the Everything Data plans to be able to use the phone.
So, please to those of you who already have this phone, were u asked to change plans? Be it SERO or F&C Plan 3000.
And if not, what can I do to make sure I retain my plan?
