Can never hold a proper USB Connection between my TP2 and any computer

My Verizon TP2 can never connect with Active Sync anymore, preventing me from doing rom updates or transfering files to and from the phone. The same thing occurs with disk drive mode. It seems to charge when connected but the orange light does not always stay on and the PC does not usually recognize the device. Rare that I can get it to work. This is with multiple USB Mini cables and multiple PCs. I lost the original cable it came with if that matters.

What happens when you try to charge off of AC - Does the orange light stay on, or not?

I had the same issue with mine. I took it back to Sprint and had it replaced with a new one (and they actually had a brand new one in stock- no refurb). New TP2 works great!

Try another USB cable, I had the same issue, it turned out to be a busted USB cable. I'd say try a few USB cables, and it's it all jacked up on all of them get your TP2 replaced.

My phone will charge with this USB cable plugged into the AC Adapter. It will also charge from this USB cable if I turn my phone off. So, for some reason or another it seems the phone is not communicating with the computer.

Oddly enough...the last time I was able to get the USB cable to work was when I used it to install the 2016 Fix a few hours ago. o.O

I found out, after a hard reset (where I forgot to backup stuff), that the problem was with my PC and was fixed after I reset my PC.

Further evidence of my newbdom.

When in doubt - Reboot! Glad to hear things worked out for you.
