Look man, the only difference between GSM and CDMA is the radio. They do NOT need different phones altogether, the only difference is the radio. So I guess you feel the radio is a pretty major difference then?

I think you see where I'm going with that.

We're talking about cell phones here. The radio is a pretty major part of it. Wimax is completely and totally different from CDMA. Sprint being CDMA won't help them get Wimax devices at all. It has nothing to do with it.

when its time to build the cdma phone, its going to be as simple as installing a wimax radio or lte radio. Now when deciding to build a gsm phone or a cdma phone its not that simple. As we all know cdma phones are thicker and we all have seen the reasons, but basically its because its cdma not gsm.

No man, the only difference between CDMA and GSM phones is the radio. Period. Just like a Wimax radio is different from a CDMA radio.
