Exactly. I think the phone would rock just like it is on 6.5 and we would have a phone ready to go as soon as the Devs cook a win7 rom. I say win, win.

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50286; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

I definitely need the keyboard, and after being spoiled by this amazing keyboard the TP2 has, no way I'm giving it up (as I clutch it with a death grip).

Oh, and regardless of whatever carrier gets it, I won't be leaving the most expensive carrier that I've loyaly been with for 9 years. I pay extra for the best network and best customer service.

Now, hypothetically, if I were to leave, no way would it be for an inferior network carrier like T-Mobile. They ARE notorious for having the worst coverage (as is Sprint for the worst cust. service - and one of my best friends is a tier 2 tech supervisor at Sprint, and agrees with this).

I'm not going to get into price debate, except to admit Verizon is the most expensive.

So, if the question was, if Verizon got the HD2, would I personally trade my TP2 for it? Well, I would seriously be conflicted in losing the keyboard, but I would think about it. After all, we are people of technology, are we not??

but with the screen being a 4.3, wouldn't the on screen keyboard be big enough to type?

The resolution is still the same, so you're still losing just as much screen real estate as you do with something like the Diamond2

Agreed. I can pretty much touch type on the physical keyboard without looking at it. That's something that's just not possible with a virtual keyboard.

I watched so many YouTube videos on the HD2, and I really think it's an awesome phone, but watching someone type on the on-screen keyboard (on the HD2), just turned me off. I'm really spoiled by the TP2 keyboard (and TP1, 6800, and 6700)

Re: Who plans to go HD2?

I wouldn't leave Big Red either just to get the HD2, but I have been known to put a Sprint Touch Pro on Big Red. Now if only a T-Mob HD2 would work on Big Red. Hmmmm
