lol, no man, I know that is what you mean. I am telling you, you're wrong. Wimax and LTE are going to be the new data standards going forward. So yes, ther eis GSM and CDMA right now, and there will be Wimax and LTE in the future. EVDO will become the 1x of the future, and HSPA will become the EDGE of the future.
And maybe Wimax won't implement a whole new lineup of phones (that is exactly what I am saying, by the way- the only Wimax phones will be ones that Sprint has to custom order) but there will absolutely be a whole new lineup of LTE phones. Just about every carrier in the world that has commited to a standard has commited to LTE. So as dominant as GSM is right now, LTE will be even more dominant- as even most CDMA providers are going LTE in the future- except Sprint.
