I use SPB BU all the time, I know what it does.
If you do a full system BU & then mess up your system, you can hard reset & then restore the BU & be right back in business on your CURRENT ROM. It will not restore your system to the stock ROM setup however. You would have to find & DL the stock ROM & reflash it to your system first (SPB BU will NOT do this). You could THEN restore an SPB BU you had made previous to flashing to something like MightyROM. ~John |

To go back, you just need to reflash the stock ROM.
You can find the stock ROM downloads in the upgrade section. I saved a copy of the stock Verizon ROM to my laptop before I did any custom flashing. I have never used it, but I know it's there just in case (or if I need to return it to stock in case I need to return the phone under warranty) ~John |
