Backup Factory ROM

Is there a way to backup my current ROM before I try to flash to the MightyRom? I havent been able to find a factory ROM that matches the one my TP2 came with.

I currently have CE OS 5.2.21052 (Build 21052.1.6.5) w/ TouchFLO 3D 2.1.38416.1

Anyone know where I can find that one or how i can dump my current ROM so I have it as a backup if I dont like the MoghtyROM?

Thanks

I've used SPB Backup to backup EVERYTHING, and was pleasantly surprised when it backed my entire ROM version after doing a bad upgrade, which saved by a$$. I now have total faith in this program. LINK

Re: Backup Factory ROM

SPB Backup will not restore a system to a previous ROM.

As I said "I was pleasantly surprised".....I will only provide factual information on this board.

Re: Backup Factory ROM

I use SPB BU all the time, I know what it does.

If you do a full system BU & then mess up your system, you can hard reset & then restore the BU & be right back in business on your CURRENT ROM.

It will not restore your system to the stock ROM setup however. You would have to find & DL the stock ROM & reflash it to your system first (SPB BU will NOT do this). You could THEN restore an SPB BU you had made previous to flashing to something like MightyROM.

If I offended, then I certainly apologize; I never questioning your understanding of the operations of the SPB Backup Program whatsover, as I apparently did not clarify clearly enough the steps which I followed which "saved my a$$" in my real world experience. You apparently are much more well versed with the SPB Backup application than I, and I should have provided further details which I did not properply flesh out in my initial response to the OP. I don't sell the product, I merely provide endorsement of those applications which provide value in my Windows Mobile experiences.

Re: Backup Factory ROM

To go back, you just need to reflash the stock ROM.

You can find the stock ROM downloads in the upgrade section.

I saved a copy of the stock Verizon ROM to my laptop before I did any custom flashing. I have never used it, but I know it's there just in case (or if I need to return it to stock in case I need to return the phone under warranty)
