Verizon TP2 WinMo 6.5 in January w/ manila 2.5?

Well, just got off the phone with a Vzw tech supervisor (who's also a member of this forum). Of interest was that he says 6.5 will be hitting the streets within the next few weeks. While he didn't know for certain which build of 6.5 or exactly which version of Manila, he did indicate that the version of Manila has been updated (unlike the AT&T -and possibly the January 10th TMob - TP2) and that we'll get our homescreen snowflakes soon enough. Hopefully!

Oh, and if someone has already posted this, I didn't mean to steal your thunder. I tried to find you, but came up with pocket lint.

It wont be 2.5, it will be Sense 2.1, similar to the one found on the 6.5 ROM for US Cellular's TP2

I do know you can check out US Cellular TP2 videos on Ewetube, if you are familiar with MR.

I didn't see a huge amount of differences between Manila 2.1 and the USC stock Sense 2.1, aside from the weather-integrated home screen. So assuming this is what we can expect, at least that offers some idea.

Wondering why we wouldnt get 6.5.3 with the update....
are there any phones that come with 6.5.3 HTC or otherwise??

here's hoping that when sprint finally releases an update that it will come with at 6.5.3 and sense 2.1 at least

AFAIK, 6.5.3 hasn't been officially released yet as it is still in beta, which is why you can't get it from an official update. The only place I know of to get 6.5.3 is either here or over at XDA via a cooked ROM
