Having problems updating the library even after reading the other threads posted...

I am reaching the end of my patience with the HTC media player after trying to get 4 lousy songs to show up in the now playing list

I read the other threads posted and they didn't work (also soft reset a few times). The problem is that the songs do not show up in the "Now Playing" list yet if I go to "All Songs" they show up there. If I go into Coreplayer the 4 songs show up there.

I also deleted one song and it's still showing in the "Now Playing" list instead of picking up the changes almost like it's referring to an older list in memory. If I click on a song it plays fine...

Any suggestions other than throwing this thing into a snowbank?

Start> Settings> Customize Tabs...
Uncheck HTC Media Player.
Use Core Player.

I have a Sprint phone and I did this.
I now use, Core, Win MP, pocket player, Nitrogen, amd Mort Player. Depending on What mood I'm in.
Sorry. I just don't like the built in media player. Especially while running a class 2 memory card.

If you are talking about playlist. The only way I've been successful is by creating the path Storage Card\Music on the root of a drive on my PC and adding it to WMP library. Then when you sync the path in your playlist will have the correct path information in it and then yes you need to reload the playlist after each update.
