Perhaps, but if one company is going public about capping, then every one of them will do the same. It's too good of an opportunity to sit there.

However, my point was merely that low-end capping and metering will just not ever get passed by the government. For example, Comcast is safe with a 250GB/month cap because anyone even close to that should be shot in the head anyway. Time Warner tried to introduce the idea here in Rochester last year and there was an uproar. Politicians got involved, bills were submitted to Congress, etc etc.

Good luck, but low-end metering will never get passed.

Yeah I easily move 1 terabyte a month :/...mostly due to the nature of video streaming and BT. (but then again my home connection is a 30mbps so it would be a crime not to use :/)

Well I guess I better line up to get hit by the firing squad... I don't use Bit Torrent at all, but I easily push over 400GB in a month and have exceeded 3 and 4TB in a month on occasion...

I download movies with the best of them, but if you're using Bittorrent like Netflix, then **** off. You're ruining the internet for everyone else.

how in the hell can somone DL that much shit in a few months span....he must be downloading the full blu ray releases...still the guy says he doesnt even use bittorrent so wtf is he using MU?RS? wtf

shit on demonoid i usually download 10 gigs a month and seed out 20....i dont see how u can DL 3TB's in a month

It wouldn't be hard at all if you watch a lot of netflix or a lot of on demand tv.

Say your living room, your bedroom, and each of your 2 or 3 teenagers bedrooms, all have a directv receiver that does On Demand, and all of them have netflix boxes on the tv too. it would not be hard at all to hit over a TB (or 3). And that is becoming more and more common. If you guys can't imagine anyone hitting those download levels in a month, you better get with the times, lol.
