Re: Best / Smoothest ROM, Your input ?

i used to use mightrom Love untill its started hard reseting it self everyday (with nothing installed too). Malrom just stop booting up out of the blue (may have been my tweaks). Messing with juicy r7 for now, no issues yet. Havent really found a Rom im in love with yet, might flash one of these barebone 6.1 rom and custimize my own wisbar and WAD into it.

Re: Best / Smoothest ROM, Your input ?

One caveat to these ROMS is understanding that after we install all of our programs, reg edits, etc... it can really affect the performance and smoothness of any ROM. So it can vary greatly from one user to another.

I think you hit the nail on the head with that, I don't think most people really take that into account, I know there are some people that only install 8 to 15 apps (that would be me) and there are people that are installing 150 apps. I think people really need to think about the effect of what they install and how it really affects there phone and functionality.

It's all about preference though. Mike's is the most stable by far too!!

Talking Re: Best / Smoothest ROM, Your input ?

I have been using EnergyROM's 6.5.3 and I can't believe noone has mentioned it yet, but it is really good. The ROM has been really smooth for me and it may be just because I went from a TP to a TP2 recently and I'm not used to everything "just working" but everything is, for the most part, working really quickly and smoothly. I love the widgets, it is just sick how customizable everything is, and the weather animation floating around on the home screen is awesome. The only thing that needs work is landscape mode, but that will come with time. I definitely recommend at least trying it, can't wait till android is fully functional, if for nothing else simply to try it.

Re: Best / Smoothest ROM, Your input ?

I've not flashed yet, may not, still debating. SSSROM is something I'm watching though.

Best bet is to take a week off, read all the ROM threads and see the issues folk have and decide if what's displayed there is what is livable to you.

Re: Best / Smoothest ROM, Your input ?

sssrom is by far the fastest...it runs like the phone has a a 1gig processor

note: i have tried mighty 2.1(for some reason it drained my battery), ENRG (lots ofapps but dont like his theme-clock mostly), stuck with juicy for a while(youtube never worked right and unable to customize bootscreen) but with the release of sssrom im sticking with it! (so far it perfect)

im just mad ill have to flash over all my major customization with the new landscape version!!!

Re: Best / Smoothest ROM, Your input ?

The problem also is that there are so many different SYS and versions of Manila too. If the OP could narrow down his preferences, he perhaps might get some helpful answers.

Right now, it is so open-ended that you could insert almost any ROM based on your subjective preference... (and reading the thread, that appears to be true)
