Re: is their a way to improve to visual quality on the opera web browser?

Are you using turbo mode? Turbo mode will make the pictures look grainy, if you turn off turbo mode the pictures will look clear again, but the pages will load much slower. Basically when you have turbo mode on you are getting a compressed version of the website that has passed through one of opera's servers, that is why it loads faster. If you turn off turbo mode you get the site directly from the source and uncompressed but obviously that will take longer to load.

1) Open Opera
2) In the address field type 'Opera:Config' (without the quotation marks)
3) Scroll down to and then click 'User Prefs'
4) Scroll all the way down to 'Turbo Mode' and uncheck the box
5) Scroll all the way to the very bottom and click 'Save' - THIS IS CRUCIAL. Otherwise the setting won't hold
