I hate that it does not have multi-touch. seriously, almost all the games require it. It's awkward without it.

The only thing I honestly HATE about it is that it doesn't have a flash. That's about my only complaint. And that the sound DLL gets broken so damn easily.

Oh where to start:

Crappy Camera!

Crappy FLASHLESS Camera!

Like most phones now days, they think ROUNDED edges are the "in style" only serves to piss me off...

I truly DO miss a DPad... needs a redesign

Volume buttons not FLUSH or ALMOST flush with the case (hit them ALL the damn time when in landscape mode, also on this note is i truly miss the Moguls scroll wheel which had both scroll AND a button... was freaking awesome!)

No hole for reset button (manually added i have but lame to have to do it is)

The ZOOM bar at the bottom doesn't have more DEFAULT uses (and that the custom uses apps are so hard to find)

Just like most phones now days (sound familiar) the speaker holes for the ear piece are TINY?!?! (seriously retarded)

The stock BT stack (for sprint at least and some others) SUCK SO MUCH, my BT headset apparently doesn't have volume control... (it does... worked fine with Mogul and TouchPro1, also cant connect to my laptop when the other 2 could)

(sprint at least) no color for the buttons... its all white...!

while not really a "hate" merely a dislike, the angle the tilt action stops at is about 5deg off from what id truly like

Heres the kicker: ATI/AMD, Qualcomm, HTC, Sprint (and other carriers) still haven't added proper 2d/3d graphics support... its comparable to highway robbery with the amount we pay for these devices! (if its them being cheap basters and not licensing them or not i dont know all i know is its stupid as hell and the reason i wont buy any more HTC phones unless its a Tegra phone)

Kicker part 2: NO FM RADIO (sprint/cdma at least) i mean seriously retarded... and no web based streaming is NOT an acceptable replacement, battery drain of FM vs CDMA data (and especially at low EvDo signal where i both live and work) is stupidity retarded...

I have a few more... but i think thats it for now... LMFAO!

FM radio screw job. NO Flash, I really miss the flashlight app. No hole for reset. I'm seriously considering dremeling my case like somebody else posted. WHY SHOULD I EVEN HAVE TO CONSIDER THAT???

I used to love my TP2 till I bought the droid for my daughter as a christmas present. After playing with the droid for a while I really hate my TP2 now.

In my opinion, it's just a little too easy to launch the wrong program, link, unintentional dialing of a phone number whatever when you're trying to scroll.

besides the obvious:
Hardware
1-Zoom bar is crappy and a waste of space, D-pad could easily replace it
2-Internal soft reset button fails (miss the external on the mogul)
3-getting the battery cover off/on (more so on) witht the stylus is a hassle
4-the power button could've been moved to the top left of the phone cause it often gets pressed when typing with keyboard
5-better camera, i mean come on! its 2009! no flash? no 5+ megapixel? well if your not going to bump up the pixels (because pixel amount isn't the only factor of camera quality) at least get a better quality mobile phone camera manufacture (achem ..iphone)

STOCK software is pretty fair. slow, but fair.

HATE the Camera. Useless in my opinion.
Hate that it doesn't have a flash
Miss D-Pad
Miss more hardware buttons on side (I used AE Button Plus to remap use of buttons)
The Zoom feature only works for Opera
No FM tuner (it's on the chip, just crippled!)
Have to take it apart to hit reset!
Battery life could be a little better

Biggest gripe hands down is the CRAPPY, USELESS CAMERA! I don't even bother with it.

Dude, AE button plus is a thing of the past. Download the rhodium kb driver. I know you're not using it b/c once you install it AE button no longer works. I'm using the rhodium kb driver b/c I added functions like ctrl+c and Ctr+v for copy and paste. Check the rhodium kb configuration examples in this forum. Sorry to get off-topic, but I used to love AE button plus as well. Oh yah, you can map any key with the KB driver as opposed to AE button plus.

i hate all wino music players with a passion. the only decent one is the one in tf3d and i hate touchflo. give me a music player like the droids or the pre's and i can hold off for a year for winmo 7 or an upgraded phone with snapdragon proccessor and capacitve screen.

on a side note op, remember this is a professional phone, adding multitouch for gaming purposes is the last reason on their plate. i have games on my phone and never play them. this is another reason you never see winmo advertised on tv. if you want games droid or iphone is your best bet.

no phone does everything so lets not pretend the tp2 does. the tp2 does the most out of them in my opinion for what i want, but making it seem like there are no problems with it and its heaven sent or something is ridiculous. the op is just wondering what our dislikes are cause EVERY single phone will have at least 1 thing wrong with it, or everyone would buy that particular phone.

I can't believe this hasn't really been mentioned yet but I'd love mine to have a capacitive screen, resistive just feels so old school after using ipod touch, etc.

- No snap dragon processor -- meaning not too future friendly.
- Windows Mobile itself seems dated -- WM7 may not work on our processor either.
- No HSPA support for the Telus Canadian version.

Outside of that though, not too bad.

Yeah it hasn't been mentioned much EXCEPT IN THE FIRST POST !!

Lack of capactive screen doesn't bother me.

The accidental select while scrolling drives me nuts too as mentioned.

Overall I love the phone. So much so I bought one for my wife for xmas.
It's so funny watching her cleaning smudges off the screen.

Her headset is not working great with it though (Plantronics 520).

3 more things-

FM Radio. I REALLY want someone 1337-er than me to figure out how to fix it so I can listen to my fuddy-duddy talk radio. I'm great with hardware but crappy with software, so I can handle some soldering if necessary but I can't figure out the driver side of it.

The zoom bar should have been a d-pad, or at least a joystick a-la the ppc6700. I cant wait till they figure out how to remap the zoom bar with tap zones. This lack of buttons has been a growing and disturbing epidemic ever since the iPhone came out. All-touch looks cool, sure, but I want buttons damnit!

And I hate how sometimes it won't turn on without a soft reset. It's been doing that every day lately. I just flashed the latest mightyrom & it's been doing it with every rom except stock. I'm honestly considering going back to stock if I can't figure it out. I guess that's probably a software bug & not a phone bug, though.

Other than that it's the most incredibly uber phone I've ever owned. What's wrong with the camera? I know it's not the highest mega-pixellage but mine takes lovely pictures.

volume control has sucked the last couple phones. Y cant we hold the volume up and set 2 ring and Vibrate?

reset button. You would figure HTC knows you have to reset these phones atleast once a day!

Gaming sucks!

but all in all this is the best phone. I use it n conjunction with my ipod touch for gaming

I hate verizon's plans for the touch pro 2
beyond that there are some gripes - no soft reset hole is the biggest one. No graphics acceleration is a HUGE ONE!

Thank you for making this statement. Verizon is NOT the best provider at all. They rip you off here and there, offer terrible phones with tons of Verizon-branded crap, control the hell out of their users.

It feels great with unlimited data at around $20-25 (entire plan is $60 for unlimited text and web, plus 500 minutes, free nights and weekends), unlocked GPS, unlocked tethering, FM radio hidden but still available, and NO JUNK.

I get 3G and there are cows next to my townhome complex, too.
