Any way to disable the "No SIM" notification in the taskbar?

I'm running Juicy ROM R6. I installed the GadgetFreak taskbar, but for some reason it always shows the "No Sim" icon in the taskbar.

Is there anyway to disable it other than popping in a SIM card?

I wondered this for a while as well since I took my sim out when I first got the phone. The only reason I took it out is because everytime I flashed it would ask me to set the phone to global mode. Once I took it out I got the same icon you did. As far as I know, I don't think there is a way to shut it off unless you did some kind of mod to the icon which I didn't know how to do. The new mighty roms don't ask me to switch to global so I just leave mine in now. So that was my reason for taking it out but it doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. I would just put it back in.
