the biggest deal breaker for me used to be the weather update interval, but we have that solved now. I like the programs on the home screen. since i text so much, my middle app is sms. i disable the htc messaging app bc it is junk. ive tried to use it many times but its just slow. so 2.5 with the zenyee disable msging cab is it for me. twitter app is nice also. oh yah, the bad thing is that htc mediaa player is useless in all the 2.5 roms that I have used...it ends up pausing your music after a few minutes.

anxiously waiting for this new sense 2.5 with Landscape support straight from HTC that was released today

its all the little stuff. on the email tab u can only see one email on 2.1. on 2.5, u can swipe up and down to scroll thru your emails. Also, you can view MUCH more of your email in the preview also.

You can do the same on 2.1. But I do agree that 2.5 is better and you are right that you can see way more of your email under 2.5.

I don't really see why landscape matters that much. 2.5 is like night and day from 2.1. If I could only use 2.1 I wouldn't use TF3D at all. I only use TF3D BECAUSE of 2.5. 2.1 sucks ass.

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50286; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

Landscape works just fine in most all the programs, it just doesn't work in the main TouchFlo 3D (Sense) screen - and I really don't care about landscape for that. I'm on the EnergyROM Leo too. I really don't think it's much of a decision, it works in HTC messenger. The messenger app is slow when loading past messages, but I still prefer it.

Also, to the person who mentoned Sense 2.6, that's the same as 2.5, but for a different processor (or something of the sort).

Re: Is Having SenseUI 2.5 Worth Not Having Landscape Support??

i tried NRG and Juicy already and while they are bad azz roms on their own, the landscape was driving me nuts when i wanted to use the keyboard to set up email, twitter and other tasks within manila. im back to mightyrom till we get a rom with the new official htc landscape for 2.5 cooked in

i had no issues with 2.1 since i had the max manila clocks, weather animations and such so im fine to wait till we get the goodies.

Re: Is Having SenseUI 2.5 Worth Not Having Landscape Support??

why does everyone keep calling it official release of landscape directly from htc, this is not an official release from htc. this comes from htcpedia, which is also the same as ppcgeeks or xda developers. if you read here it was created by a chef. if it was from htc they wouldn't mention a chef's name, they would just say htc released landscape manilla.

Re: Is Having SenseUI 2.5 Worth Not Having Landscape Support??

just wondering. does anyone know if the us cellular touch pro 2 has the 2.5 sense ui considering it comes with 6.5 preloaded. if so can't it just be ripped from it to work on the verizon and sprint pro2s? i dont know much about everything thats been goin on because i haven't been in the scene in a while, just wondering if it has the 2.5 or 2.1. I would believe it has 2.5 considering the winmo6.5 being preloaded instead of winmo 6.1

It's actually 2.1, like the Imagio. Not 2.5. A custom rom is needed for 2.5. As it was designed for the HD2, not the TP2.
