palm contacts to htc

Ive searched and tried everything that I can think of. I'm trying to transfer all my contacts stored on my palm 755 to my new HTC touch pro2.

I can save the contact list as as csv file. I followed this guide: http://manish.wordpress.com/2008/11/...ut-ms-outlook/ using pim backup.

It shows 396 contacts transfered but nothing shows up. all contact spaces are there but empty

There has to be a fairly easy way. Any help is appreciated.
