palm contacts to htc
Ive searched and tried everything that I can think of. I'm trying to transfer all my contacts stored on my palm 755 to my new HTC touch pro2.
I can save the contact list as as csv file. I followed this guide: http://manish.wordpress.com/2008/11/...ut-ms-outlook/ using pim backup. It shows 396 contacts transfered but nothing shows up. all contact spaces are there but empty There has to be a fairly easy way. Any help is appreciated. |
Re: palm contacts to htc
The way that I did this from a centro to a tp1 was use the palm software to sync contacts and then I used the palm software to export the contacts as a csv file. Then I imported that csv file Into Microsoft Outlook. Then you can use ActiveSync to sync the contacts to your tp2.

Re: palm contacts to htc
I went from a Palm TX to a Touch Pro 2, and configured HotSync to sync with Outlook, rather than the Palm Desktop. That brought everything in. Had to tweak categories and such, but that got all the basics in there.

Re: palm contacts to htc
I do remember having to sync a few times to get contacts to show up on the palm software. I didn't know u can sync a palm device directly to outlook .

Re: palm contacts to htc
Or... Just have Sprint do it for you.
Just go into a store and they can do this for you. |
