Tilt 2 3G switching

I have the ATT stock rom tilt 2, since ACT no longer lets you switch off the 3G but puts the button there, does anyone here know what will work to switch off the 3G and go back to 2G aka Edge? I have searched high and low but nothing so far.

Any help would be great!

Did you check under the com manager?

Wouldnt have posted if it was there. Normally Advanced Configuration Tool 3.3 would work, but all it does is make the slider appear but doesnt allow you to change it.

if you goto xda website and search "force edge" you will find the fix I posted. I found on another site and it worked for my friends Tilt 2. Sorry cant post here right now. Hope that helps you.

Sorry, didnt have it in front of me at the time. Here is the reg edit I found at AT&T forum under HTC Pure Tips and Tricks by Foxbat121.

Go to reg key [HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PHONESETTINGS] and change "ShowUMTBandPage" to "1" to enable band selection page in phone settings.
