Re: Replacement screen for TP2 CDMA(SPRINT)Verison
If you are talking about the screen, not the lcd, it's called the digitizer, and I haven't seen one for CDMA version on Ebay. They do have alot of GSM version though.
Anyways, even you get the part, it'll be pain to take the phone apart to the bone just to install it. You are probably better off claiming replacement on Asurion, or local sprint repair center to get it replaced. I'm not sure if local center will replace it for free though.

Re: Replacement screen for TP2 CDMA(SPRINT)Verison
I allready got myself a second phone, but I want to fix the other one. I need the actualy lcd part, and the digitizer due to having a slight crease in it. Sprint would not do anything for me as far is it only being a week old, O well.
Does anyone know how hard this phone is to take apart? manuel.cornelio@gmail.com is your lcd for the AT&T version, if so it will not work with mine. I need to make sure the screen is coming from a CDMA TP2 Thanks for all the input. |

I wouldn't say the phone was hard to take apart, if you know what your doing. So did you ever end up getting that phone fixed? If so how did it go?

Re: Replacement screen for TP2 CDMA(SPRINT)Verison
Will a Verizon TP2 back cover fit a Sprint TP2? I hate the Sprint back cover and really like the Verizon version. If it does fit then I plan to dye the Verizon cover to black out the Verizon Logo. If anyone out there has a spare Verizon cover would you be willing to sell it or trade for my Sprint cover? Pleeease let me know!

Re: Replacement screen for TP2 CDMA(SPRINT)Verison
I have a broken digitizer as well. Taking the tp2 apart is not very difficult. As long as you have the right tools and a basic knowledge of electronics you should be fine. There are tutorials here on ppcgeeks that will show you.
I have read that it can be difficult to get the lcd display off of the digitizer, but mine came right off with minimal effort. I have not been able to find a compatible digitizer though. If you run across a source please let me know. I saw one on ebay earlier this month but the seller was out of town or something and I wasn't able to get it. Let us know how it goes. |
