Unzip the attached zip to your storage card, or on the device and run it. When it finishes, wait a few minutes and the problem should go away.
Thanks alot for trying to help a noob like me. I'm afraid I messed up something. I now get text messages, however, I can no longer send or read text messages. So if I try this cab will it clear this up and clear up the initial problem. Is there a way to reinstall the original file I replaced? Or am I doomed to a hard reset?

Unless you are backing the device up, and can restore from a previous point in time, then a hard reset may be the next step.

Thanks, this fixed my issue... hopefully I won't have to keep running this...
