Re: Stilys world, are you a happy resident or a hostage?(free cheesy poofs inside)
i try not to use it, and it pisses me off when I HAVE to use, like when selecting little check boxes sometimes. Everything should be finger friends then that would be great.

Re: Stilys world, are you a happy resident or a hostage?(free cheesy poofs inside)
glad to hear i am not the only one, i use my TP2(and all before that) for work and with stylis it seems a LOT faster and accurate(not to mention more fits on screen since i set it to smallest) than with finger. When i get HD2 first accessory will be a stylis made to work with capacitive screens(saw on engaget), anyone has a link for it?(cant find the original article)

Ever used remote desktop or VNC on your TP2 before?
If yes, you know the value of stylus's pin-point precision. There is just no way I can use my thumbs to take advantage of those apps. If no, you should be. There is a whole new realm of potential out there using those apps. I typically like to access and control my home systems from work, so whatever the tasks they might be, they will be ready when I get home. And when it comes to controlling them through remote desktop or VNC.. nothing beats stylus. This is one single feature in WM platform that no Android and iPhone can ever touch. Plus, TP2's touch screen is very good with thumb operation as well, so you get the best of both worlds. |

But the option is there anytime you might need it, and when you do, you will be glad it is there. To me they are invaluable tools. Not only does it save my time, it is darn convenient, as my TP2 is always in my pocket, always on and ready to connect. If someday, WM, Android or iPhone with capacitive touch screen that can be used with point stylus with full featured remote desktop plus the slideout keyboard like the one in TP2.. I will be all over it. Last edited by Pasukun; 12-18-2009 at 03:26 PM. |
