possible issue? how to resolve?

Hopefully someone can help.. my TP2 (sprint) has started to do a strange thing.. every morning when I use it for the first time, it appears that some background items didnt run (IE eamail scheduler), and that it is sluggish. Also when I press and hold the power button to get the SHUT XP program to come up, my screen flips as if I turned the phone longways BUT SHUT XP doesnt and is part on the right and side of the screen and part off the screen so yo can not see the SOFT RESET button that is on the right. HOWEVER, I can press the back arrow to get back to the home screen and then go into another program I have that does a SOFT RESET. Any ideas?
All I really have on the phone is the stock rom, the SPRINT TP2 cleanup package, the new weather tab (using MTP LOADER and WEATHER PANEL) some different icons for the TF3D and a bluetooth fix I found for hangup. Only background programs running are the weather panel hourly fix, email scheduler and the memmaid fix..

any ideas.. this just started happening in the past few days.... ONce I soft reset its good to go for most of the day....

Re: possible issue? how to resolve?

I wonder if some of the tweaks and add-ons you've done to the stock Sprint ROM have something to do with this. It sounds like many of the things that that you've installed are available cooked into most of the custom ROMs available here. I would recommend either hard-resetting and adding in each of those pieces one by one daily to see which one ends up affecting the phone's behavior, or simply flash to one of the custom ROMs. If you're concerned with hardspl unlocking, there are very good instructions available in the sticky under CDMA Upgrades. The re-locker is also available there as well as the stock Sprint ROM in case you need to take the phone in under warranty. I have found that Energy and MightyMike have absolutely the most stable ROMs but Juicy is also very good. You may find that you get more functionality from your phone with a custom ROM, and you can still add in the Sprint cabs for Nav, TV, etc.
