Game folder

I installed a few games, but they aren't in the Games folder.
Can they be moved there?
If yes, can I use WMDC to do so? I've searched a lot and the answers I find talk about using the File Explorer and creating shortcuts.

Re: Game folder

Use any file manager / explorer on the mobile device and cut / paste the links (.lnk) files from where ever they are now i.e. /Windows/Start Menu/Programs into the /Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Games folder. Or as you said, you can do it from your PC desktop too.

Re: Game folder

I can't seem to find the files on the desktop though.
I have these folders:
Application Data
ConnMgr
Documents and Settings
My Documents
Program Files

I looked in each but can find the links or a Games folder

Re: Game folder

Hmmm, no Windows folder eh??? Try using the File Explorer on your mobile device. Navigate to the Winows folder, then to Start Menu, then to Programs. See if you can find your newly installed games. Tap and hold one of them and select "Cut". Then navigate to the Games folder in the same Programs folder and tap/hold/paste the link. Repeat for each game you want to move.

I didn't see a Windows folder in WMDC, I even set the PC to view hidden folders.

Your instructions worked perfectly. I'm slowly learning.

Thank you

Re: Game folder

Happy to help. I'm on ActiveSync still so I can't really help or advise on your WMDC issue though sorry.
