Ringo Mobile on TP2 - Page 2

just started using Ringo on my TP2 and it works well.. I am using a sprint stock rom though

one thing that i cant stand about windows mobile is its method vibrate. if you choose vibrate and ring it will just vibrate throughout the entire ring. if you choose vibrate then ring it will just vibrate once and then ring (i find it very easy to miss the vibrate and if im in a noisy place i wont hear the ring either)

Ringo fixes this problem allowing a choice of vibrate styles. I tried to use vAlert, which is a free alternative but it doesnt work with any of the versions of Touchflo 3d.

Another huge plus for Ringo is that it also plays midi ringtones. I prefer some of my old midi ringtone to MP3s of an actual song.

If you wanna assign different tones for text messages, try photo contacts pro.

Yeah I tried that on MM's Impact Rom and it does not work, makes everything silent on my phone. Do you have it on a rom?

Anybody got it working on MM's custom roms? The latest ones that came out?

I'm running MM's 11/25/09 Rom sense 2.1 and Ringo v1.5 and I have no problems.
Could be that It's not compatibale with the 6.5.3 roms.

Is ur ringo a full version? I know after trial versions expire it will not save custom tones and if u uninstall expired versions and re-install it you get the same outcome.

Yeah I think it is more of a compatibility issue with 6.5.3 in all honesty. Yes I am running a full version. Maybe I flash to one of his 6.5 ROMS and see the outcome and keep you posted. Thanks for your help!
