Just had a thought. These guys/gals that create these outstanding roms, put alot of hard work into these with no more than a 'thanks' in return. Anyone willing to 'Ante up' for their work in a kinda fun way?

I was thinking, anyone that would want to vote on best rom, would donate 2,3,4,5 bucks or so (predetermined amount), wait for the 'official' entry (given a deadline) and either buy them something as a winning prize, or give them the cashola. (if this goes against forum rules, I apologize...feel free to delete post), but I think a nice 'geeky' prize would be cool - new case, something cool software wise, or whatever. we could put up a poll to determine the amount, then another to determine the prize.

everyone that donates would have to load each one of the roms, load their own personal software, test it out, and then vote.

I can see each rom taking at least 3 days of testing, so this could get quite time consuming, but it might be fun for those of us who like to try new roms. <I've had my tp2 for about 3 weeks and have tried 3 roms from this board> it's been fun, and other than pushing the 'thanks button', what else do they get for their work?

what i've noticed is they post a new cool rom, theres quite a bit of explanation involved <what's included, what may still be a challenge, etc.> It all adds to their work. Then it's <maybe> a thank you, and that's it. what is their continued motivation for making our lives better?

anyway, just my idea, what do you all think?

Just kidding i missed the part about loading everyones rom. This would be a great idea! There would need to be some categories though, like 6.5/6.5.x, 2.1/2.5/titanium.
