Re: to former TP1 owners (now owning TP2)
The TP2 is the best windows mobile device sprint has released thus far. I have owned every WM device sprint has had it is the best period. The larger display looks great and it is so much eisier to read email and surf the web on. I can actualy use the device on a stock rom for the first time com, pared to any previous device I normaly unlock and build rom the day I get a new phone I will be waiting at this point because the stock works great. The battery life is much better I use with exchange server on demand sync and its last much longer then my TP. The one thing that is hard to get use to is no dpad and 6.1 rom just takes a little time and will get better when they release 6.5 rom in Jan. I was not going to upgrade at first did not see that much improvement over TPvs price but then TP broke was offered upgrde for 100.00 went for it and now I would have to say I would pay full price for upgrade it really is that much nicer, glad I didn't of course.

Re: to former TP1 owners (now owning TP2)
When I had the TP1, I was wondering the same thing. Everyone kept saying things like the screen is better but I thought it really didn't matter to me.
OH MY GOD. The screen is AMAZING. I cannot tell you how much more useful your phone is when you can see more. Its just gorgeous. To me, the TP1 was

Well I have own a Mogul, Touch, Touch Pro, and now the Touch Pro 2 and its an amazing sexy beast lol. Yeah its WAY! better then the others ive owned and there is really know comparing. I mean along with what everyone else says, IT DOESN'T OVER HEAT. My phone hasn't froze not once and the only time I ever use the hard reset is when I install a new cab.

Re: to former TP1 owners (now owning TP2)
The TP2 is by far a greater phone then the TP. The only thing I miss from my TP is the flash and maybe the tab button. Those aren't deal breakers for me (and really, it shouldn't be deal breakers for anyone).

Quote:
1. TP2 is higher quality build. 2. It is faster. 3. The OS and the TF is smoother, everything works, and it has a better TF interface. 4. Bigger screen is so much nicer. 5. Speaker is louder. Only think I miss is the LED light and a Enter Button, and the TP2 keyboard takes some getting used too becasue it is larger. The TP2 hands down is a significant improvement over the TP1 in terms of function, speed and build quality. Good Luck! |

Re: to former TP1 owners (now owning TP2)
it may have a lot of the same specs but its worth it IMO
i love the size of the screen.. .the speakers are great... i dont really use the 3.5 jack but i guess its good to have... i like it... the tp feels so small and like a toy compared to the tp2... dont get me wrong the tp is a good phone too but i like what i mention about the tp2 worth it... a better phone will always come out but there is no word on when.. i would love for the Leo to make its way to the U.S. but who knows. 2010 looks good promising, the question is if you can wait that long.

Re: to former TP1 owners (now owning TP2)
I've had the TP2 for just over 3 weeks now and I feel stupid for waiting so long to get it. I was lucky and got mine free from sprint due to another failing kb on my TP.
For me my TP wasn't even in the same class as my new TP2 is. I LOVE this phone now. I loaded up a custom rom and it just plain works. I run win 6.5 build 28005 and manila 2.5. Its amazing. Everything is smooth, responsive and just does what its supposed to do. From my experience going from the TP to the TP2.. I would happily pay for the upgrade. Its a great phone. |

Re: to former TP1 owners (now owning TP2)
Id say most everything is better except the camera. I dont care what anyone says, the TP2 camera picture quality is a noticeable bit worse than the TP1. Ive taken pics of the same thing with both under the same quality and the TP1 was easily better quality.
