If you are referring to the xml link in your post, its attached, personally i did not see anything in there of use, but it's very possible im wrong.

Re: Native HTC messaging MMS fix (collaboration)

Another observation:
I see that the UAProf is also under the following key in the registry:
-HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/InternetSettings

I checked it against the OEM Sprint ROM and noticed that any and all placed the UAProf key is, it is set as http://device.sprintpcs.com/HTC/PPCT7380SP/1216513.rdf

I am wondering if this may also be a key of interest as we know that Arcsoft used "The Internet" to connect and send MMS.

Here is a screen cap from the OEM Sprint ROM:

And here is one from the Juicy R5 test ROM:

If I'm not mistaken...there is still the issue of the HTC messaging client (TF3D2.5) not getting the data from your MMS sent out to the proper place.

For us Sprint folks...we're stuck on the MMS being sent...but never received on the other side. Meaning so far the messaging client is pointed at a different server/IP address.

There are custom ROM's out there that have been setup to work around this "minor" inconvenience, but the object of this thread is to get something that is NOT designed for this phone...and making it work collectively...and so far this thread has yielded some good results.

Actually, the letter part to HTC or Sprint is not such a bad idea, I'm an 11 year subscriber of Sprint and will be more than glad to sign such letter.
LOL, I'm sure they would forward it to HTC, you know "passing the ball' or 'punting'.
BUT, the thrill and satisfaction of cracking this problem open is what keeps us working on it.
I'd test any suggestion, and have an extensive line of codes written to perform on my own phone.
I'll report back soon with the results.
So far I'm at the UAProfile= and UserAgent Part.
It's making some sense, because the phone id changes when we custom-flash our roms.
