Hotmail hit & miss?
Got my new TP2 setup to sync email (I'm using Hotmail) "as items arrive", but it's hit & miss? When I'm signed into MSN messenger on my desktop, I can see emails arrive, and sometimes my phone will alert me within a minute or so, but the last couple of days the phone never recognizes them, even if I manually "send and recieve"...is there something I'm missing?

IDK. 95% of the time, mine gets emails immediately. Sometimes they take a while. I opened Windows Live and set inbox sync to "as items arrive" too. Have you double checked your Windows Live settings?

Also, do you have more than 50 unread messages in your inbox? This could prevent new messages from syncing.

Shut off the phone and then restarted it and it seems to have fixed it. Although, I just now got 2 emails, and the phone started vibrating and wouldn't stop...! So, another reboot...:P
