That's why ALL winmo development has stopped. Nothing to do with Android or iPhone... At least not directly.
WP7 will have it's own partners and will have full development but first it has to release and that won't take place till this holiday season. At which point it will be a 1.0 release and will need several revisions. I'm looking forward to it and so are many others. Whether you call it Windows Mobile 7 or Windows Phone 7, it's still the same thing...a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft. I'm not exactly sure what Windows Phone 7 is going to offer but I think Microsoft is joining the mobile party too late with too little.

If they seriously want to compete with the likes of Android based devices, the iphone or blackberries, they're gonna have to come up with something spectacular imo.
