Connecting as disk drive very slow

Ive been having this problem lately.. When connecting my phone to the computer as a disk drive, it takes very long to transfer a file.. it takes just as long, maybe longer than when connected using activesync.. anyone know how to fix this.. this has happened on numerous different roms.. specifically the new 6.5.3 roms.. Anyone else having these issues.. I transfer movie files to my phone pretty much every day so this is very important to me.. Thanks in advance..

Mine connects pretty much instantly & I'm on 6.5. You've probably got some corrupted files on your card. This has happened to me before & that's what the problem was. What worked for me was running scandisk on the card via Pocket Mechanic. It'll find the corrupted files. You might lose some files, but it'll fix the issue.

kool thanks ill try that out.. My problem isnt how fast it connects, its how long it takes to transfer a file.. what normally would take 5-10 min to transfer now takes like an hour..
