If I paid 10 a month for Hulu, I might as well pay the same price for bottled air. That just doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't even pay 20 bucks for a one time fee. 4.99 perhaps.

I recommend Slingbox. I've been using it for years and can't imagine not having it. They have a phone app that allows you to watch and control your home cable box/DVR.

someone told me about http://channelsurfing.net. I was watching TLC from my pc at work, but I haven't tested it on skyfire. I'll try that soon.

Started with the basic model that's not for sale anymore but had to upgrade to the Slingbox Pro-HD to go with my cable HD DVR.

I also purchased SlingPlayer Mobile years ago. The same Registration code has worked on all my new phones. The HTC TP2 is awesome because when you rotate the phone it automatically switches to landsape view.

It's worth noting that Slingbox has no monthly fee and you don't have to pay for software to view from your PC. You do need to connect your Slingbox to a internet modem or router and your tv.

The only problem is this thread is all about watching LIVE TV on your phone, FOR FREE!! My advice involves an initial expense and relies on a home internet and TV service. I just had to add my 2 cents.

i'm looking at them. the slingbox solo is on sale at best buy this week, i'm thinking maybe buying it from there. that way if i don't like it, i can return it. the pro hd i see on ebay, it's a little pricey.

I have Cable TV hooked up to my computer and i'm running ORB. I'm also thinking about making a public user name so people can watch TV using my setup (for free).
