HTC_Calendar and HTP People won't go away

These two icons show up in the start menu even if I delete them, they don't seem to go away. if I delete them, they just re-appear a few minutes later. How do I stop them from showing up?

I got rid of everything but the calendar icon, that one comes back on every soft reset..........

After deleting the shortcuts, I changed:
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\IsShortcutEnable=0

Now they're all gone.
