THANKS to all - I have found my Solution for My Wife Asked me to ASK

We both switched to the new Imagio - a TP2 with WM 6.5.

She misses one simple feature that was on her Blackberry.
If I was a Programmer - it is simple enough I could do it,
but I'm NOT a programmer.

She likes to leave her phone on at night when Sleeping and
Charging. But she only wants the phone to RING if there is a
REAL PHONE CALL, not every time there is an e-mail.

She would love to have a simple App that allows her to turn
off all notifications EXCEPT a PHONE CALL RING and then be
able to enable all notifications in the morning.

I'm sure it should be a simple registry change to OFF and then
ON again.

Does anyone know of such an APP or has free time and can
WRITE ONE

Re: My Wife Asked me to ASK

I don't think you need an app, you should be able to save a sound profile with everything turned off except phone calls, then load another profile with all sounds on.

If you go to settings>sounds>there should be an option to load a profile, you should be able to load it up, I can't confirm this 100% because Im actually flashing a rom as I type this, but I can look at it when its done flashing.

Also, I thought the imagio was a diamond2 not a pro2? or did I have it wrong.

I looked for the Profile Option - Didn't fine one.

And I think it is a TP2 - but not 100% sure either.

Re: My Wife Asked me to ASK

go to settings>sounds and notifications
remove the check box under "Enable sounds for" "Events(warnings, system events)"
and also remove the box that says "programs"

this way the phone will only make a sound when there is an incoming call

Re: My Wife Asked me to ASK

Unless your Imagio has a slide-out keyboard, then it is not a TP2. Imagios do not have a hardware keyboard. Also, Verizon's TP2 does not come with WM6.5. So, you just have an Imagio; you are in the wrong forum.

Not sure why you posted in the Touch HD forum but google Seven email. Sign up for the beta right now, but is a true push email client for all your email and has the option to be silent at night or any certain time you set.

Re: My Wife Asked me to ASK

OK finished flashing 6.5

there is no stock sound profile setting (I thought there was), so you can either do it manually, which seems like a pain, or download a sound profile type program, which is what you're asking for on your first post.

search google for ppc sound profile app or something of the sort, when I get time later if you haven't found something Ill find it and post it here.
