Any possible way on Verizon

Please be kind...I really want to dump my BB Storm!

I'm in love with this phone...and GSM isn't a possibility where I live. Is there any way for it to work on Verizon's network?

what phone do you want on verizon?
i had the BB storm before my touch pro and i made a good choice the storm isnt a very good phone overall way too many problems
if you want to get a touch pro i would suggest you sell the storm **UNLOCKED** on ebay or craigslist and with the money buy a vzw touch pro thats exactly what i did
if you want to unlock your storm, call up verizon and tell them you want to unlock it because you are going out of the country to europe soon and want to be able to use a sim card from europe and they will go through the process to unlock it. you will get more money this way for the storm!

you cannot use the touch HD on verizon because it is CDMA and the HD is only GSM sorry man.
verizon just released the touch diamond though and it is a very good phone too! but i would get the touch pro before the diamond

I think verizon has a version of the storm.
I would do a google search to find out how to flash a blackberry and then search for a verizon rom, I can't help you with that since I've never even owned a blackberry.

no he already has a verizon BB storm and he wants to get rid of it so he can get a touch HD but the HD is only GSM so it would never work with Verizon's CDMA network

Keep in mind a variant of the HTC Touch HD is rumored to already be coming to big red.

If this occurs keep in mind that VZW likes to release their smart phones in clusters near the start of their 2nd and 4th quarters of business. If they do, than its a real possibility the "Network" could be preparing to ruin their reputation as a great network with outdated phones.

HTC Touch HD on VZW in October 2009?

On March 12 2009 GCF certified XV6175 (XV is a known Verizon Code). Interesting to note is this phone is a "world" phone that is also GSM. The Blackstone (Touch HD) is currently a GSM phone which is leading to the speculation.
