I'm going to have to agree that it is getting a bit ridiculous seeing people talk about the Touch HD everywhere on the forum... it needs its own subforum and I don't see why you jumped all over him for saying that.

People are excited with the Touch HD. what's wrong? Like what boe said, Ignore the threads or post that U don't like then move on. Touch HD is still unofficial and cannot have it's own subforum. "Don't get mad, Get glad."

Both Raphael and Diamond got their own subforums before they were official so quit blowing smoke when you don't know what you're talking about.

I'm sure the HD will get it's own forum when it is closer to coming out but I wanted to know what people who are interested in the Diamond thought about the HD especially since the HD's potential launch date is so close to the diamond's US launch date and because they share a lot of similar features but also have differences worth noting. Obviously I took there comment the wrong way. I would have been fine if he posted it once on the first page but to revisit the thread he said he didn't want to read and post again - seems a little odd.

There are a ton of threads that don't interest me - I tend to read the subject of the thread - if it doesn't interest me I don't actually read the thread. If there is a particularly topic that interests me - I do a search.

If I had posted a question about the mogul in this thread - that probably should be moved but my topic was the diamond and the HD. If I had posted it in an HD thread - would he be upset I mentioned the Diamond in an HD thread?

I guess I've never asked to have anyone else's threads removed (certainly not twice), I've never called anyone elses threads useless - not sure what the advantage is in doing that.

OK - I regret getting caught up in something I shouldn't have even responded to. I don't like ruffling feathers. Life is far too short for me to get upset because someone doesn't like a topic I posted on a forum!

I would however like to thank those who have added some useful info abou the Diamond here. I thought the screen was smaller than it will be. Since it will be the same size as my touch, I can use it - I thought it would be too small for me to type and see plenty of other things on the screen.

I still want the HD much more than the Diamond but I think I can live with the Diamond until the HD becomes available.

Okay back on topic, how is the touch HD much much better? Heres my post from elsewhere, just don't want to re-write it all.

"Ok, I lied, this is my last post in this thread. For those of you waiting on the HD, it's the same thing as the Diamond really.. 256 RAM, 528mhz processors which are very similar. The only thing is, is that the HD has a sharper display which seems nice but may not support a lot of applications right now. Aside from anything else, by the time this phone is available for CDMA WinMo 7 will be already out. I plan to use my Diamond for a year, then swap to a WinMo 7 device.

Oh yeah, HD does have the head phone jack if that's really worth waiting a year though."
