I use PDANet and it works great "For me" but I dont have any registry settings edited to use it, just connect via Activesync and then it pops up a window that asks if you want to connect and you're off and running. Its a lot less complicated than doing all the other "Wifi, Internet Sharing" stuff to me.

Keep reading. There is a post, Multi NAI I think, that will guide you on how to use Internet Sharing w/o having to use extra software. You will need a USB cable. There is another post explaining how to use the Wi-Fi but I just use the USB cable.

Blazin is correct, once you just change your connection sharing to ip preffered just go to your connections on your phone and go to your existing connections and put phone as a medem. Then go to internet sharing on your phone thru programs, p connection should be usb, network should be phone as modem. Plug cord into computer, press connect on your phone then plug cord into phone. Then you should be on with a min or two.

I can't find any reference in this thread to the steps required to "set IP preferred". Can't find any such drop-downs, etc., on my Mogul.
What are the steps to "IP preferred"? THX |

Actually, it's "Mobile IP Preferred." Dial ##DATA#, choose Edit, enter your MSL and you can change your MIP_MODE (mobile IP mode). CDMA2000 supports two kinds of IPs, simple and mobile. Simple does not move between cell towers, mobile does.
