text/email message tones

Is it possible - and if so can someone PLEASE tell me how - to select the wav files I've downloaded as alert tones for when I get new text messages or emails? THANK YOU!!!!

Move the wav files from wherever you downloaded them to (probabaly in My Documents) and move them to your WINDOWS folder on the device. when you go to sounds & notifications select the drop down box>scroll to messaging>select the tone you want. Hope This Helps.

Is there anyway to customize sounds per email box or text messages? Could you even have a special sound per an email user who sent you a email, just like you set up special ringtones for calls coming in?
