varying results here, 1-2 bars, 1500-2800 down and 56-98 up, doesn't look like rev a...

Yep. Where I live they have a single EVDO tower running for testing purposes. It's playing hell with my 1X service. I'm having fits trying to load web pages. I may make a trip to KC today or tomorrow just to see what Rev A is like.
