deny web access

I am giving my 6800 to my grandson.
He lives for texting, But does not hava a data plan.
Is there a way to stop him from going to the web ?
So he may enjoy the phone and not get killed with $$$$

You can call the carrier and block data use, or you can use this app to block programs from trying to access the internet http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket...tility-nodata/
