telenav for mogul

I just signed up and the program is really good. I used the 6700 version before and the new version is much easier to use with fingers. It has big icons and I love the traffic update!

Now I just need a car mount and a bluetooth stereo lol

Wait....telenav on your Mogul? That's available?

Anyone know....does Telenav just use the "A" part of A-GPS? Meaning, it only uses cell towers for location fixing? Or does Telenav also use GPS sats? If that's the case and it does use GPS sats, how the hell did you get the AGPS in the proc turned on? Did they do it at a store...was it OTA (over-the-air), or did it just work after you installed the Telenav app?

No on the Mogul it requires external GPS, I was waiting for someone to try it, was wondering how well it worked on the Mogul. I'm not willing to pay $9.99 for it, all though I do like that it has a lot more POI's since it searches the net for them. I'll stick with TomTom 6 since its paid for in full, no monthly fees until I find my POI's are so outdated its not worth it. Can you post a screen shot from your mogul?

Oh nevermind. I just read up on Telenav. I thought it was the Sprint GPS locator thingy. It's a 3rd party product. So, you use an external GPS receiver then?

Telenav's great because of the extensive POI database, but tomtom is cool too...To each their own really. Telenav only works when you have cell coverage, because you download the maps on the fly, but tomtom requires about 800mb storage space for the required maps.

As posted by BigDoggy4Ever (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...89&postcount=1) you can get Telenav here:
