Titan is still not listed in the compatibility list (Titan, Mogul, PPC-6800 tried without luck).

The boxwave one look nice, let us know how you like it. I am still using the Gomadic I was using with my ppc-6700 but it covers the on/off button. I cant tell if the boxwave does as well.

It looks like pro-clip delayed the release of their item, even they sent an email out saying it was ready...

i just ordered the proclip for the mogul with a vehicle mount
i -hate- having to spend this much on the damned thing, seeing as how half the cost is tied up in the 2 pieces of plastic for the vehicle mount. but i wanted it it clean, solid, secure, and done right the first time. I'll be mounting this in my semi while i drive, as i use my phone for music and maps as well, and the proclip allows me to use the standard plug and splitter so i can run thru the stereo.
ill post feedback when i get it installed and set up
but $70, man, what a drag

Re: Car mount

I know this is an old thread, but i thought i'd throw in my $0.02.

I have a mogul, and i got a bracketron brand mount from Best Buy for $20 bucks. It's the vent mounted variety. It actually works really well in my car (bmw e36.) I have it set to hold my mogul horizontally, w/ the top slid up and keyboard exposed.

It works really well in my car because of the position/design of the vent. It places the phone up high and up off the dash, so it's so close to the steering wheel that i can actually navigate menus w/ out having to remove my hand from the wheel.

Works great for GPS navigation, and for general one handed use.

Here's a couple pics to give you an idea of how i've get it set up in my car.

Re: Car mount

I made my own out of my old 6700 Seidio holster and the mount from my Magellan GPS.
