Does individual contact ringtones work on Mogul?

I was able to get individual ringtones to work on the Kjam wm5 but I am unable to do so on the Mogul. I go to contacts, edit, ringtone, and then select the ringtone. The ringtone then plays until the end of the ringtone with no way to get it to quit.
I have tried several ringtones but when i reopen the contact no ringtone is selected.
Is this a wm 6 issue or is there another way to select the individual contact ringtones?
Has anyone got it to work and if so how?
Larry

I just went to contacts, click on the one you want, click edit, select ringtone box, pick your ringtone (I saved the custom ringtones in the My Documents/My Ringtones folder on the mogul). It starts playing the ringtone, but you can just go ahead and exit the contact screen. When I come back to it, the custom ringtone is still there.
Also if you want custom sounds (new text message, etc. ) the file has to be in the My Documents folder on the Mogul
Hope that helps
Jay

I have tried the same procedure as you outlined but the ringtone will not be listed after you exit the edit page. The drop down box for the ringtones list all my ringtones but no matter which one I select it will disappear after you exit.
There is a small program I can use to force the ringtone to work but it would be much easier if ringtone selection would work as you outlined.

Do you have any other programs installed that might be conflicting with the changes or not letting it actually change the ringtones?

If you are using HTC Xbutton, clicking the OK at the top of the screen may make it exit without changes. Try using the OK hardbutton instead.

yeah - now that I you mentioned that I was having trouble getting a lot of stuff to update and changes to stick (like with ringtones and stuff as well as changing themes and backgrounds and stuff in HTC Home plugin) until I changed the "end program by tapping x" to "end programs by tapping and holding x" in the x-button settings and also put the icon on the today screen to close all open apps. Then any changes worked perfectly. Also I have read that x-button 2.0 is having some compatibility issues with some apps so u should use version 1.5 instead

clicking the hard OK button solved my ringtone problem as well as my alarm problems.
I am using x button 2 and using tap to close and it is closing the ringtones and alarms without updating.
thanks for your help.
