Uninstalling/Removing?

After I install a program with a cab file, can the cab be deleted to save space? Sorry, I'm a new user and was unable to find the answer searching the forums.

Yes, after the CAB is installed you can delete it.

Just wondering if you have ever noticed this, or if its me just not remembering correctly... but after i uninstall stuff it doesn't seem to reclaim the space, and if it does it doesn't seem to get it ALL back... even after i clean the caches or do a soft reset...
ever notice this?

There is a setting that you check that will automatically delete cab's after install, can't remember off hand how to get to it though.

I have a folder on each of my storage cards with all my .cabs and more in case I ever have to do a hard reset away from home., doesn't take very much room at all.
