I live in an evdo area, i have alltel, my 6700 used to get evdo speeds, now my titan will not. I thought it was because of the Mobile5, but I upgraded to Mobile6 and it's still slow. I've called tech support and they said they are still working bugs out with this, however, the phone in the alltel store shows it is connecting at evdo speeds. I don't think it would be a per handset base, it would be all devices... argh. I think I need to complain more and get a new phone!

rev a. update titan, sprint leaked rom chicago (NW suburbs) but, i can't seem to run the test again through opera mini, says to fast/unstable, do i need to clear some cache from opera? so many of these tests seem so off, like running from ie vs opera.. can anyone recommend good websites for testing from the phone (non flash) for accurate results? |

re-tested with new Rom...
well this is just getting better as we go...definitely a speed increase using the new 3.16 rom/3.27 radio. done today at what would usually be a busy time of day for a network. if RevA wasnt working before, dang sure is now.
Straight from the phone, no tethering involved, using Opera obviously... San Diego, 17:00 hrs first was BandwidthPlace: second was Toast.net:
